Angela is Co-founder and Chief Story Teller of the non-profit organization, 100cameras. She was born and raised in Tallahassee and graduated from Florida State University, majoring in Creative Writing and Education. Angela has lived and worked abroad with multiple educational programs located in places such as Romania and India. These experiences along with various others redirected her passion from working towards a broadcast journalism career to working with kids, the power of storytelling, and local community development initiatives worldwide.Prior to 100cameras, Angela was one of charity:water’s first interns and was Director of Development at New Life of NYC, an inner-city community center located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Angela is a current Gotham Fellow and attended Redeember for 6 years until recently shifting to help build into community at the launch of Trinity Grace Church in Tribecca. She would sum up her New York City experience thus far into two words: community & home.
